It's bitter and tastes like crap! Doesn't taste like any apple I've eaten, lol. Best way I found to take it is in yogurt, you don't taste it at all. I use vanilla flavored yogurt.

Just took your suggestion and tried it with yogurt. Much better! Masked the flavor more than the peanut butter did.
