While I love to see free people having such joy and enthusiasm, I would NEVER want to be in a stadium where thousands of people were jumping up and down. That is the way to collapse a stadium, through periodic stresses, like...well, like thousands of people jumping up and down in unison.

Several years back there was a Hyatt Hotel in Kansas City, where just people were jumping up and down on a sort of "bridge" structure inside the hotel, and it snapped and fell. Killed 114 people.

I can't imagine what would happen if that huge stadium collapsed, but it wouldn't be pretty.
