My vet always used the injectable ( given orally— not injected in puppies with scabies— gave a high dose per body weight to get it into the subcutaneous capillaries I guess since scabies mites are bloodsuckers similar to ticks — would kill ticks maybe- not sure if it would help Lyme disease once acquired- but who knows anything anymore— probably had cures for diseases we’ve been plagued with for years
My old dog just had surgery for a small tumor (this tumor has recurrently abscessed 3 times in 8 years)
Vet recommended Benadryl for his body weight to shrink it prior to surgery— shrunk first day— probably a mast cell tumor ( they produce histamine— go figure) he was on “allergy bites treats “ for a year and a half between flare ups— quit the supplements and tumor returned and itched enough to have him chew it up— go figure
I think nature provides what we need — we just don’t remember or have access
