I heard they were quietly discontinued. I think a lot of news items like this are just to try to scare as many people as possible into getting jabbed before the DS's cut-off date (which I assume roughly coincides with the beginning of cold + flu season -- i.e., before the ADE effect starts and people get wise to the potential long-term dangers of getting the jab).
