I just don't understand. Applying super basic logic that literally everyone knows about coronaviruses (colds) really pokes holes in the idea of mass vaccination.
We've always been told there's no "cure" for the common cold right? And that this is because as it transmits through the population it rapidly evolves and by the Nth transmission, when it makes it back to you, your natural immunities no longer recognize the virus as what it once was and you get sick again ... right?
So, if the vaccine is essentially just a glass of fuckin emergen-C that just sorta cuts some of the symptoms and allegedly prevents death, isn't that just actively working to strengthen the more potent variants that aren't dying with the host? If it's not preventing transmission, aren't we just incubating a virus to become more deadly? And if it's still transmissable whether or not you have the vaccine, and all it does is prevent death (which is the one thing that generally halts tramission), what is the difference if I get the vaccine or not?
I just genuinely do not understand. There was a point when they were clinging onto a bullshit narrative that at least tenuously attempted to make sense. Now it's like they're not even bothering.
