I was put on register duty so I managed to make a quick conversation with a paramedic who came in with a mobile order. Tried to tell him about how I hated the recently reinstated mask mandate, but the GM was breathing down my neck at that point. The medic simply said not to believe everything you read. I asked him about the icu capacity and he said it’s nothing like the media says it is. Absolutely barren, save for a few guys still recovering from TB. He had gone to the ER to get some kind of debrief, and there were no patients whatsoever. General admission was the same too. They are definitely panicking guys, keep up the good work!
