This was recommended to me by YouTube yesterday. I shared it with a few people and was getting ready to share it here. The biggest take aways for me were the ways to combat it. Set your own mind right to be a shining example, ridicule the totalitarian with humor, build parallel social structures outside of totalitarian control, spread the truth as far and wide as you can. It seems like we have a pretty good start with that here at .win, we just need to take it more to the real world in a bigger way.

Having worked most of my life in engineering and scientific fields and dealing with objective truths and quantifiable realities, it is disheartening to realize that the human race is at heart an irrational species. At various times great numbers of us can be convinced to follow leaders and ideas that simply don't make any common sense. Pol Pot and Jim Jones have more in common than one might think.

The great flaw in socialism is to believe people are rational beings, we are not.
They like to say when people are shown how good socialism is they will believe in it.
A lot of us are fully paid up members of the awkward squad and will do what suits us, not what suits anyone else, not even dear old Lenin.
True. Buying decisions are based on emotion, then justified with logic.
