My grandmother had a pinto. She got rear-ended but it didn't explode. Somebody at the tow yard walked by and flicked a cigarette, end of pinto.

My Dad had one. I learned to drive stick in it (in a field) when I was 8. Good times. Great car, except for that one little issue. Very sorry for the families from the 7 deaths.
