If you got a PC, you can always get some old CD's or get your games "on the side", which always keeps them offline. Old and indie games normally don't have DRM, and thus are safe.

Also, do they think the big ISP's are going to just eat all of those lost revenues? If Internet connectivity is interrupted, millions of people working remotely won't be able to do their jobs. The cable companies and other ISP's would be swamped with complaints at first, and then lawsuits if the outage persists for any length of time...
I suppose that ISP downtime is theoretically possible, but all of their networks going down at the same time, for any length of time seems highly unlikely to occur in reality.
