55 mins in, biggest news so far is - 173k lost votes/96k ghost votes detected in maricopa county canvas analysis done by Liz Harris + her volunteer team, aka knocking on the doors of registered voters and asking them method of their vote, if they received additional ballots in the mail, if they received ballots for other people in the mail etc.
lost votes = people claimed they voted, but they are not recorded as ever having their vote counted
ghost votes = votes supposedly cast at a fraudulent address where there were either no people living, or ballots with a name of an unknown person being sent to a house.. and somehow being counted as genuinely voted despite nobody sending the ballot back again
Agree with that, its an important distinction that was not entirely clear during the warroom segments, but the report itself is explicit in what was and was not done.
Not all of 2,595,272 registered voters in maricopa were canvassed
total number of registered voters canvassed was almost 12,000 (11708 homes visited)
Some precincts were more covered with the canvass operation than others. Some examples:
The entire precinct of Warner was canvassed, consisting of more than 7,000 registered voters
Partial canvasses were conducted in the Dunbar, Waggoner and Rittenhouse precincts.
So yes, it was an extrapolation. They say based on the the number canvassed compared to the total number that the work & extrapolation was statistically valid:
The canvass as conducted generally yields a confidence interval of 1.5% at a confidence level of 95%. Said another way, very similar to voting polls, the accuracy of these results applied to the county as a whole are within +/- 1.5% with 95% certainty, which is the scientific statistical standard for samples such as this. The results from the canvass are thus able to be applied with scientific certainty to the entire county as a whole.

But they didnt find that many actual lost/ghost votes, did they?
From the PDF i saw it looked like they canvassed 4,000 houses and extrapolated for the state
