Well, that's weak. How about contacting the AG? He can't call a special session, but maybe he can shove his spine up Parson's ass and get something accomplished that way. Or maybe he can just do an AG thing, like he did about the mask mandates a few weeks ago.
So I did email the AG, but haven’t heard anythng back.
I got an auto response from Josh Hawley.
I was able to chat with Bill Eigel’s Office (my local rep) and they are hoping they can push the conversation mid September when the Missouri senates convenes. They told me they have gotten a lot of phone calls and emails just like mine.
The company I work for is private, but extremely dependent on government contracts.
I honestly think Missouri would be scared to run them out of the state. They have 60-70k employees.. I’m extremely bummed because I enjoy my job and like my boss. But I can’t sacrifice my right to decide this..
I was keen on Hawley at the beginning of this, but after the election certification when he lost his book contract and his family was accosted he more or less went silent and may have taken a uniparty turn. He voted for the final Covid bill, the one that sent billions into overseas money laundering, using the rationalization that Missouri families needed the additional $600.
Seems you've taken all the right steps and I hope things work out well for you, one way or another.
Includes tweets from Parson, the AG and majority leader of the Missouri Senate. Remains to be seen if it's just all talk. Parson says nothing about what he intends to do about this.

I emailed Hawley on that exact issue. The stimulus that should never have passed.
And I also e-mailed my rep who voted for it.
And thank you!
