Let me first start by stating... I'm not bashing Christians. I am one myself! And, although there are many us here, there is a problem with them/us due to our nature to not only love our enemies (I have no problem with that) but to TRUST others as well. I'm noticing this as so many in my own church have been hit with serious complications from covid. They are going to hospitals to get well... trusting in the hospitals and staff. They realize there is evil in the world, but they can't wrap their heads around the fact you we can literally trust no one, no entity, especially government entity, at this point. They trust their doctors advise (ventilator/remdisivir protocol), even when shown evidence to the contrary... because they are a doctor. Many don't do their research, many don't CARE to do the research, because they simply trust. And, really, how do you blame them? Are we saying the doctors and nurses don't 'care'??? I do think most of them do care. They also don't see the war we are in for our freedoms, and are giving up their freedoms (all too willingly) in order to respect the government mandates. I have many Christian friends who have gotten the jab without a second thought... why??? Trust.

Often some verses that are forgotten in misconstrued.
Be innocent as doves and shrewd as snakes. Matthew 10:16 Kind of tells me not to trust people.
“Caesar’s,” they said to Him. Then He said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” Matthew 22:21 This is talking about taxes not all of life and everything about us.
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as ones who must give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no benefit to you. Hebrews 13:17 Some think this is talking about Governments but in Hebrews 13:7 we have the definition of the leaders spoken about. Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. Hebrews 13:7 The leaders it is referencing are those that speak the word of God to us.
True understanding of scriptures requires studying both the Micro and Macro connections. The idea that we are to submit to Worldly powers until we are crushed is not so. True there is a time we maybe martyred but it is not the every day occurrence and it is also our responsibility to resist evil, insanity and foolishness. We due not use the weapons that evil uses but spiritual weapons. When we do comply it is to be in an outrageous way to bring about true change. When we do not comply it must be in a spirit of justice still and restraint or ourselves.
This problem is not based on Christians it is based in the total surrender to apathy that has gripped this world. People are too worn out to care and they give in with a thought of death would at least bring rest. Our creator wants more for us than that and expects more of us than that.
