Trying to make some decisions on how to best prep for the times, should things worsen before they improve. I want to get my money out of the bank asap and I'm thinking of using it to buy a plot of land as my long term investment/savings strategy. This would protect my money from both inflation and government overreach, as I believe a few more steps ahead in their plan will be to block us from our banking accounts if we do not comply. We are not there yet but I think it's coming. The land will also be an available resource should I need it in the event of food shortages as I am a master gardener but my current property is tiny.
I'm also calling a ranch today to invest in a quarter cow for my freezer. Between that and the fall garden, finding food won't be an issue for months. Regardless what the near future holds, I have to make sure I can keep my kids fed.
Do you have any prepping plans in action? Any advise?
Already in one, though I need to get away from my mid-sized city as population centers are getting less red as time goes by.
If we flee the cities the cities will lose massive population and will lose power. In my area red still outnumbers blue, even in the city, but this place is just too crowded for me, i hate it and it was always my plan to go way out to the country, long before this covid shit started.
