Trying to make some decisions on how to best prep for the times, should things worsen before they improve. I want to get my money out of the bank asap and I'm thinking of using it to buy a plot of land as my long term investment/savings strategy. This would protect my money from both inflation and government overreach, as I believe a few more steps ahead in their plan will be to block us from our banking accounts if we do not comply. We are not there yet but I think it's coming. The land will also be an available resource should I need it in the event of food shortages as I am a master gardener but my current property is tiny.
I'm also calling a ranch today to invest in a quarter cow for my freezer. Between that and the fall garden, finding food won't be an issue for months. Regardless what the near future holds, I have to make sure I can keep my kids fed.
Do you have any prepping plans in action? Any advise?
While all of this is theoretical, even though a lot of evidence kind of support this, there is a value in having a document that shows ownership of land for the future. Even if it is taken away to come back on the after side, even if it is a decade afterward can help a person get at least something if not the actual land back. The benefit in the short terms is the right morally, ethically, spiritually, and legally to tell someone to get off the land or to protect oneself in the process. Purchasing the land to preserve wealth maybe helpful and may not.
