It is through belief in Christ alone, but if one truly believes then it will be like the mustard seed planted in good soil and the house that is built on the rock which will he separated from the chaf that is thrown into tue fire. For if one truly believes that Jesus is the Son of God, he will believe in every word that comes from God and do his utmost to live by it.
That’s very sad you refute Scripture. I gave you very clear Scripture where God says who goes to heaven and who doesn’t. I know VERY many people who claim to be Christian and yet they live in sin unmarried, fornicate, are sodomites, have had abortions, stay drunk, dress scandalously. They honestly think they’re going to heaven bc those aren’t sins anymore and God loves them just the way they are and they’re heaven bound because their interpretation of the Bible says so. There are no guarantees. I guarantee I’m scared I might see hell, narrow is the gate. What do you think He meant when He said that many will say “Lord, Lord” but will they not see heaven?
I am with you on turning away from sin and repenting when one asks Jesus Christ to come into their lives. I do not refute scripture, I’m only saying that both old and new testaments are part of the same bible and must BOTH be taken into context and are BOTH relevant. Zechariah 4:6 “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Ephesians 2:8,9 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
