The internet is a lot more than your connection with your computer. The Power grid is connected to the internet. Shipping across the country is connected to the internet. If the net were to go down the last thing we would be worried about is not being able to connect and play games.

Most power grid systems operate on intranet systems, which can only be attacked from the inside or by EMP's. But yeah, don't count on FedEx or Amazon. And invest on old single player RPG games If the power is ok in your area. Love me some Baldur's Gate 2 and Age of Empires.
