The University of Alaska Fairbanks engineering department did a published study of the WTC building collapse and determined the building did not fall as a result of fire. I don't remember the other conclusions, but I found it interesting at the time that the study didn't go viral.
I'm afraid that there's little to nothing remaining that could be used to draw serious conclusions.
If we had all footage compiled, it would be relatively easy (compared to 2001 tech/software) to use photogrammetry to recreate the whole as a 3d model of the collapse.
Beyond that, most, if not all, the physical evidence is long gone.

Are any of these the ones who designed / engineered the WTC? No degree here, but having been in building all my life, I question the collapse myself.
Iirc, no.
The biggest criticism is that Richard Gage never worked on high rise buildings.
Even though physics is physics.
