This is the “beauty” of their deception. They let the person decide what to do via cash “bribes”.

Govt: Oh did your loved one die from covid? If they did we’ll pay for your expenses. Here’s $9.000.

Most people: ok I don’t think grandma died from covid but hey the govt is giving me free money I don’t have.

The govt didn’t even have to do the lying. The people are helping
