This is a win because the background story is:

5 years ago Australia signed a $90 Billion contract with a french company to build diesel submarines in South Australia. The PM at the time was Malcolm Turnbull - a rich socialist who took control of the conservative party for a while.

At the time the deal was criticised for 3 reasons:

1. obsolete weaponry. Committing our navy to having only retard-submarines for the next 50 years, whose side is Turnbull on?

2. it was seen as pork barrelling to buy popularity for SA senator Christopher Pyne, whose support Turnbull needed to hold on to power

and

3. it pandered to the green-left's phobia of anything remotely nuclear, and used that pandering as political cover for....

a long term program to siphon off tax-payer's money through the military-industrial complex

Sound familiar?

Trump just undid that and arranged for real submarines to be based in the area. Apart from the money, Trump just neutered whatever skullduggery Turnbull may have been up to for China regarding weakening Australia's military capability.
