Letting Afghanistan fall/burn with likely 10k+ U.S. citizens being taken hostage is a pretty high price to pay for whatever you claim they're pulling behind the scenes.. even if this theory is correct, they would need to live with the guilty conscious of having innocent blood on their hands..
