I've seen way too many articles -- on the virus mess, on Biden and on the 2020 midterms -- where the author writes a whole bunch of stuff and all the while ignores each topic's elephant in the room. I find that very aggravating, especially because ignoring the elephant basically renders worthless everything else that was written. What a waste of time, both them writing it and me reading it.
