My employer is requiring the Antigen Rapid Test to keep my badge active if I need to enter the facility.
Any sauce on this non-PCR test?
I see this website, but, it is fraught with misinformation:
How are antigen tests administered? Rapid antigen tests are commonly administered by using a sterile cotton swab and taking samples from the nasal cavity or mouth and adding a liquid solution to get a result.
Here is a short breakdown of the procedure:
Collect the sample by swabbing and rotating the cotton swab inside both nostril Place the swab inside the testing well Add the liquid testing solution Wait for 15 minutes to get a result
Misinformation at this website:
PCR tests have been shown to be up to 100% accurate
Rapid antigen tests are used to identify people that currently have the virus
"up to 100% accurate" = not accurate at all
Yeah, if it's the test that I'm thinking of, it's just where they take a pin prick on your finger to get a drop of blood. It's not bad.....I've had to do it twice. It tests to see if you have the covid present in your body.
Don't know how accurate it is but it's far better than getting that stupid thing stuck up your nose.
Do not comply.
0.1% = satisfies muh "PCR tests have been shown to be up to 100% accurate"
Virtually Spotless.
