This talk Dr Persinger did 10 years ago when this tech was in the very early stages of development, gives more insight into what he believed was possible with it.

It also makes it obvious why the controlling powers wouldn't want the masses to have access to it.

Lots of very interesting research paths to follow just from this one 10-year-old video, but this might be the kernel of truth as to why the deep state would have needed to shut him down:

Dr. Persinger:

As you know revolutions occur when about 50%, and this is historical, when about 50% of the population becomes educated. That's when you have revolutions, historically, when they become literate. That's why people often - dictators, are often against literacy or access to free information.
