Apparently, people who aren't taking the vax are calling themselves purebloods in reference to Harry Potter which is great because vaxxed libs will hate this with a passion. Kudos to whoever started this trend.

Vaxxed libs are pointing out how optically bad it is for unvaxxed to be proudly using terms that were specifically used to represent racial attitudes in the Harry Potter books and borrowed from Nazi ideas about pure blood and favored eugenics.
Mudblood is the “n word” of the Harry Potter universe.
I honestly think whoever started this trend of calling unvaccinated “pure bloods” is probably a liberal tricking you into trolling yourself, and I mean that. No good guy in real life or fiction has ever been on the side of the “pure bloods.”
Maybe you should use that big brain to think for a second.... the jab is a eugenics tool. The jabbed are being culled from the heard. Pureblood is actually a perfect word to he used in this context, because it is both factually true, and it could wake up a few people to the eugenics occurring right in front of their faces.
You're welcome to make whatever semantic arguments you want.
That isn't going to change the fact that the only people who have ever used the term "pure blood" tend to be villains. And you are, for whatever reason, deciding that nobody is going to make that association as long as they sit and listen to your careful explanation of how, no, in your context, it's actually a good thing.
"Oh, no, ha, I see why you're confused. These white hoods represent purity of spirit for us. It has nothing to do with the KKK or anything. I don't see why you would automatically make that assumption."
Optics, dude/dudette. The term "pure bloods" is almost certainly a tactic being used to mock you, and I'm telling you that as someone who is vaccinated and has no stock in protecting your movement.
Well if calling me pureblood, or non GMO is supposed to be a mockery, it won't last long. It is pretty hard for the dead to mock the living.
Well, you better hope you're right, then, because if you're not, then the optics will not be kind. I got vaccinated back in January, as did all of my coworkers, and so far, none of us have had any unusual symptoms or illnesses. I'll keep you updated if that changes.
Was reading yesterday and saw the term. I wasn't too fond if it. Made me think of some gay, sparkly vampire series that I shall not name. I prefer to think of us as simply educated.
The fact vaxxed libs are even having these discussions proves they are triggered, you big dummy.
They're even writing articles about it.
