NPR is acting like this was some big victory that they won over "white supremacy" without any sense of irony in that this "victory" was over ~400 "protestors." If you're going to argue that white domestic terrorism is some great threat, this is a really bad way to show it. They're debunking their own narrative.
And if you read the Twitter bots replying, they're all repeating the exact same talking point: "bigger than Trump's inauguration, lol" referring to a nearly 5 year old fake news picture hours before the actual inauguration taken when no one was there - because the event hadn't started yet. Even the Twitter feeds have to be seeded with bots to make it look like there's organic mockery in support of the narrative.
The left's media knows their audience, so debunking one day and reinstating the next day doesn't matter. Leftists change their mind on command. They hear and repeat the leftist media's talking points, forgetting they had believed in, agreed to, or had been outraged by the the exact opposite thing the prior day.
