Similar thing happened to me while in college. I went to the university doctor office because I had been suffering migraines for over a week straight. As I'm sitting in the chair not really paying attention because my head was killing me, the doc lifted my sleeve and in went a shot... I said, "what was that?" "The Flu shot." "I have never taken the flu shot nor do I want it..."
Well, the next two weeks were absolute hell. My girlfriend did her best to help me, but I was horribly sick with the migraines still, vomiting, fever of 102 most of the time, sweats, dry heaving, coughing, congestion, basically the lot. I've never gotten it again since and haven't had anything horrible.
That's malpractice and I'd be extremely angry if that happened to me. So sorry you had to go through that. It's hard to trust doctors nowadays when so many are arrogant idiots
The only reason I didn't say anything about it was because the doctor, a woman, was the wife of my thermodynamics professor. He was a hard ass, so I didn't want to screw up a grade in what is arguably the most difficult course I took.
