The Bible makes it clear the Antichrist will make an appearance on the world stage, and actually set foot into the temple and declare himself to be God. This will be the 3rd temple, which the Israelites are in the process of building right now.

At that point, Christ will return and the dead will rise first, his followers who are still alive will be caught up in the clouds and will receive heavenly immortal bodies.

The world itself will be destroyed and left desolate for 1000 years. Satan will be bound in hell that entire time waiting for his punishment.

Christ comes back to earth in the holy city on Judgment Day. The rest of the dead are raised at that time and only those found in the book of life will be allowed in the city, and the rest will be alive and outside. Satan is released from his chains and convinces the goats to attack the holy city, at which point they are struck down by fire from heaven.
