Jan 6 they had curved rectangular shields. A few were taken by people in the crowd at the capitol. Maybe the tactics and equipment has evolved. I’m sure they could get whatever they asked for right now.

Thé gear on Jan 6 were costumes from a local Théâtre Camp for high school kids. They were actors except for a couple of fat Capital cops.
