My basic position being, 'Don't mutilate infants, especially in their most sensitive regions, while their wide awake, in the third day of being alive.' Her basic position being, 'It's in the Bible, it's in our culture, you can't feel pain when you're that young, and its good for cleanliness'. I'm left thinking like, 'cleanliness'? When did we start cutting of the toes to prevent the fungus? A wee bit of research to find that oh hey, its CDC approved and recommended. Kinda makes me wonder too about the whole transgender operations on babies being normalized to in some ways. Supremely f-ed up and I think for the same reasons. Anyway, I just came here to vent this

"It's good for cleanliness" was a valid argument right up until indoor plumbing met soap. I'm uncircumcised (sorry if that's TMI, but you clicked on the thread knowing damn well what the topic was) and every time I've heard this argument it's from a woman. And every time I've shut them down with "my penis has never had a yeast infection."
Also TMI, but uncircumcised is preferable in my opinion as a woman ;)
As a woman I agree.
Me three.
Ditto. Never been with an uncircumcised man but not something that would appeal to me at all. Maybe the next generation will feel differently? I sympathize and relate with OP though. When my son was a baby it was a difficult decision to make for same reasons she mentioned.
While I had mine done for medical reasons when I was 3 or 4, so I wouldn't know what having a foreskin is like, I can attest that at least for me, I fucking hate boxers because of the sensitivity. Id prefer not to get a boner from walking thanks. Still, if I didn't get one to tuck in the waistband it would be rubbed raw. 0/10 would not recommend loose fitting underwear
