I am pretty sure most successful podcasts share ads. The more listeners, the more money they make. It's a strong incentive to deliver good content, otherwise no one will listen or subscribe.
Using one example, Bannon's War Room advertises MyPillow, Noble Gold, and some others. Having said that, Steve's audience has no doubt forced RINOs out into the open and he has played an outsized role in supporting the audits, including tomorrow's expected delivery.
I have no problem at all with people making money. If people don't need to get paid for their efforts they are likely receiving money in other ways, including paychecks from the government, which are tax payer dollars.
The great thing about podcasts is you can skip ahead 30 seconds with most players. Most ads are 1 minute or 2 minutes total. That's a simple two taps or 4 taps to avoid ads altogether.
We have much more difficult work to do than tapping our phones 2 to 4 times every so often.
In addition, if someone is playing ads aren't those PATRIOTIC businesses worth supporting? Woke companies wouldn't be caught dead on our favorite podcasts.
Having some ads to pay the bills is hardly being a paytriot, if they were selling books and the videos just hype something in the book you need to buy to get the full story yeah that's a paytriot.
Salty does have merch, but he doesn't advertise it and even recently encouraged his audience to NOT buy one of his new shirts because it's too expensive (merch is done by third party) reverse psychology, perhaps, but he's not a paytriot in my book he just has an extremely loyal and generous following. He reads super comments whether they're $0.01 or $100. 🤷😆
All of them are PAYtriots. Should be the first warning for you.
