0.026% of Americans have died so far. That is not the same thing as having a 0.026% chance of dying from this point on. If you already had corona, you probably will not get infected again. If you had both corona and the vaccine, you are more likely to die from an asteroid. But if you are over 50, unvaccinated, and not previously infected, you probably have a 7% chance of being terminally harmed by corona.
