Sounds like he signed himself out of the hospital, AMA.
That bold move saved his life, along with the Florida Doc that hooked him up with IVM, and ofcourse, God.
Had he stayed in the hospital, they would surely have killed him.
TAKEAWAY: If you want to live, avoid the hospital, if they try to intubate, do like Lou.
