My employer requires a negative test to return to work, but not a vaccine, luckily. I’m happy to take the test because I’m the only one in the office who’s not vaccinated, and no matter which result I get, I win.
If it turns out negative (which I’m sure it will, since my taking extra vitamins and zinc), then all the vaccine freaks at the office will be mad at my dirty anti-vax self for not getting covid. Win for me, I’m living in their heads rent free. If it turns out positive, I still win, because I’ll survive it, proving the vaccine is unnecessary and now I’ll have the antibodies, which are stronger and better than the vax.
Win win, losers.
UPDATE: Got a negative result. In the office as we speak.
I've also been trying to figure out if I fought it off a couple weekends ago. Had a couple of days of being slightly cranky, woke up on Sunday morning with a scratchy throat and had to blow my nose which had turned into a faucet for about three minutes...but then....no clogged sinuses at all.
The only reason I thought it might be what they're calling the coof was the loss of sense of smell. With absolutely no congestion or head clogging. It is slowly coming back now, but I was without it for about a week total.
No other symptoms. No fever, no reduction in O2 sats. I got up every day and did my usual things, I didn't lie down and let it get into my lungs. After the sinus drainage, I felt perfectly fine.
I've been taking low dose zinc with quercetin since early 2020, to build my immune system up. I think it might have worked.
(But I have no intention of going in for any testing, so I'm just going to have to wonder.)
Oh, and not vaxxed.
