So I've never been tested for covid, nor do I plan to. On Monday I went about my normal routine... workout at the gym, grocery shopping with the wife, had dinner... and was supposed to go out that evening to a meeting. During dinner I began to feel a little off and then achy. My wife took my temperature, it was 99.2F. So a slight fever, but not chills or anything. I begged off the meeting and took two therapeutic doses of Ibuprofen, 4 hours apart and went to bed early that night.
Next morning (Tuesday) I was feeling fine and also went to the gym and have been feeling great ever since.
Now I'm not sure what happened, a slight bug or maybe it's my body reacting to the histamines in pollen, which is often quite heavy around here. Or maybe I had a mild case of covid.... I don't know. As I said, I refuse to be tested.
I'm just wondering what that was all about on Monday evening... slight muscle and joint aches, 99.2 temperature, and feeling lethargic. Whatever it was, apparently my immune system kicked its ass, with some bed rest and Ibuprofen.
Well, it might have been a mild case of flu. You know....the flu that has vanished these past 2 years?
