Yep. Had a dying relative in the hospital who needs a transplant and basically will die unless he gets one. They limited visitors to one per room. They were nice and let us have 2 people visit at a time since we're a huge family. That was until one of the nurses decided

That's too much traffic. No more visitors for your dying relative.

Why did she do that? Because one of my uncles figured out the dying one felt icky and wanted to look good so he asked for somebody to cut his hair. The family member who usually did cut his hair was there so Uncle went to go get her and apparently that was when the power tripping commenced. You can read about these stories all day and think huh that's strange, but when you're right there in meat space staring down an insane little tyrant it makes you sad knowing we don't live in comic book land where vigilante justice gets results. I get the protocol when dealing with patients that have compromised immune systems. It literally means nothing to a guy who's very far down on a very long list for a life saving transplant.
