Deep State shills are once again making false accusations about my efforts on behalf of #FightBack Foundation suggesting that I “profited” off the Rittenhouse family.
#FightBack voluntarily sought to help Kyle Rittenhouse with his criminal defense costs and fees as part of its mission to advocate for the Bill of Rights which includes the right of self-defense and the right to bear arms.
#FightBack ceased its efforts for Kyle at the end of November 2020 at the request of attorney John Pierce who was representing Kyle. This request from Pierce came shortly after #FightBack posted the $2M cash bail for Kyle from donations made to the foundation.
I am not a criminal lawyer and I did not represent Kyle in connection with the criminal charges against him. NO fees were paid to me for my efforts to help Kyle on behalf of #FightBack. Attorney fees were paid to other lawyers engaged by the Rittenhouse family for Kyle’s defense.
As you can see from the spreadsheet below, #FightBack paid out more for Kyle than donations received for Kyle.
Facts are stubborn things.
Deep State shills never let the TRUTH get in their way as they are paid to smear with lies.
#FightBack complies with ALL laws, rules, & regulations applicable to 501(c)(4) non-profit foundations. The foundation’s 2020 financials have been independently audited and its tax filings are public record.
The public has the right to choose whether to believe the documented facts or the unsupported lies.
I agree it should go to FightBack. Lin uses that money for good. He does a lot for those who cannot afford a lawyer. Kyle wouldn't have been released without Lin.
You’re probably right, either way the money should be returned to Fightbacklaw because they paid the bail. And, yes, they did it expecting to get the money back to fund other cases.
That might not seem charitable to some, but I suspect Kyle Rittenhouse was feeling relieved when his bail was posted.
I donated $250 to it. I donated with the understanding that it would help with his legal defense. I did not donate it for simply bail. Maybe I can find where the requests for donations were framed as such. I expect my portion to go to legal defense. I still really like Lin Wood, though.
That’s not how bail works. The person who posts bail, is the person who receives the bail back once the person‘s case is closed.
This is the whole issue with posting bail. If I post bail for somebody, and they don’t go to court, and their case is never closed, I am the person who forfeits that money. I am the one who will not get that money back.
For this reason… People who cannot afford bail, Or don’t have people that will pay bill for them, are usually people who other people don’t trust. You have to trust that somebody is going to actually follow through with their court case, to get your money back.
This is the whole issue as well with the left trying to change bail laws - so that people don’t have to post bail to be able to get out of jail. Without having bail, what’s the point in ever going back to be held accountable for your crime. As long as you stay out of the long arm of the law, you can go and live your life anyway you want to. That’s why crime is so high in places like New York and Chicago, and Portland for that matter.
When somebody post bail for another person, it’s because that person loves that person enough, and trust that person enough that they’re going to follow through with the consequences of their actions. However messed up the legal system is, once a person is arrested they have to deal with that court case.
Anyone who post bail, would expect that that bail would be returned to them once the court case is closed. Just because people who donated, and didn’t know that, doesn’t mean that should change.
If somebody wants to donate to Kyle, I do believe there’s an actual trust fund now that people can donate to directly. But I for one am grateful that Lin Wood was able to get Kyle Rittenhouse out of jail, because he doesn’t belong there.
It’s funny how even people on this platform, people go from praising somebody one day to hating them the next. At least he did something… At least Lin Got that kid out of jail.
Kyle Rittenhouse did nothing wrong. He protected his own life, and now he’s being punished for it. At least he still not sitting in jail.
I understand how bail works. What I was saying is. People DONATED specifically for Kyle. Not to lin Wood. Lin should give the money that was DONATED on behalf of KYLE to Kyle. Not have lin say that is my money and I want it back. People ALWAYS show their true colors when money is involved.
When people donate they need to read the fine print. It went to a foundation. The foundation use that money to bail out Kyle. I’m not saying I agree with everybody on this but it is the foundations money. It was used to bail out Kyle.

Simple truths are simple TRUTH.
Simple Truth: “No good deed goes unpunished.”

Choose wisely.
Thanks for this. The best way to find out the truth about something is to post the wrong info on the internet.
When you post bail for a person and the person does not jump bail, the bail money, less a fee is refunded to the person who paid for it.

Lin Wood wants money raised for Kyle back from the courts. IE Lin Wood thinks the money should go back to HIS own foundation.
It should.
No it should not. People donated for Kyle!! That money should g Follow Kyle. Lin is showing just who he really is by trying to get that money back.

Absolutely. Everyone is a scammer and trust no one when it Comes to grifting off patriots.
Well the whole point was to get him out of jail. And he’s out of jail.
