So often i read cold and emotionless comments about vaccinated people dying or "getting what they deserve", as if somehow the "other side" doesnt matter. "This is war" some say. Collateral damage is acceptable. It has to be this way for people to SEE.
I get some wont hear or see (we were once like that). But i REFUSE to not care for every life. Most people are not truly evil. Some are. But didnt Jesus leave the 99 to save the 1? Didnt our Father say to love our enemies? We love them by our committment to the truth and our commitments to value every living soul who is made in His image.
I have seen death and cared for the dying. I have a place i tuck those memories away..but i try to always care. I have not failed to do my job because i care. Im not perfect. Its a commitment i made to God and myself. Its more difficult to care. I understand. But what kind of people do we want to be?
Caring doesnt make you weak or less determined. It makes you more determined to fight for life. Caring means you do CPR for an hour or more or rush into a burning building, or fight for a nation.
Caring means you fight for that one life, that one soul who might wake up.
What have we become while we watch our movie and eat our popcorn. I know we laugh and joke, i do too. In the end shouldnt we fight just as hard for the people who dont agree with us? Are we so elite to be a part of "the plan", that we scorn others? Arent we then just like those we scorn if we take that attitude?
Do we find it acceptable to lose even one to the enemie's plans? Do we shrug and turn away? I dont find it acceptable though i know it will happen.
But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
Well said, agree with you.
