You know, I have my days too though I can't lay in bed all day and wouldn't want to anyway. It's a wonderful age, 20, when it's your kid. They're out of their teens and growing up. It starts to become more of a friendship than parent-child. Sounds like you had a blast, good for you and him. He sounds pretty sweet to help his Mom cook dinner.
Yup, he's the "golden" child. The youngest and the one with the biggest heart and kindest soul for sure. The other two are good people, don't get me wrong, but they don't have the level of empathy he has.
What do you do when you have those days? My husband is a disabled Vet and not working much. I feel like trying to keep him busy enough not to constantly read news online and throw himself into a negative place is almost my full time job right now.
