At 11:27 downdetector shows 1521 reports on Facebook being down. So it seems to have started before this guy posted at 11:47.

Just looked and at 11:42, still before this guy posted, downdetector showed just above 100000 reports for Facebook as well.

Edit: Actually, the post says "approx 15 minutes" so the time in the screenshot must have been EST, right?

Thanks. This happens all the time when there's a "happening". some idiot posts it just minutes after it happens, and based on time zones it looks like it was posted before, when it wasn't. The best prediction posts happen at the latest, 24 hours before it happens.
