Checked this because although the Australian National Review claims to be an independent newspaper for free thinkers and critical thought, I saw some hit pieces claiming it was a conspiracy theory hub. LOL sure...Anyway, the mainstream media 7 News is reporting on it also (from 28 Sept) https://7news.com.au/technology/space/china-long-march-3b-rocket-launch-lines-up-with-flying-object-seen-over-sydney--c-4087168 which means that the OP link is late to the party.

Also Reddit showed a tweet from four days ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/SaltyArmy/comments/pywqgq/a_long_range_chinese_march_3b_rocket_was_fired_at/
