I periodically check nerdwallet or other online source to see what bank accounts are yielding the best interest rates for whatever small amount of currency I'm keeping in cash.
It has been some time, maybe even a couple years, since I last researched this so some of you may have already seen this.
I have been making lots of changes to reallocate investments away from communist corporations down to making careful selections about which restaurants I buy food from so I just thought I'd see what was on offer from the big guys before moving my money to an even smaller credit union than I was previously with.
If you're just after the best return, this may be it right now at up to 3% in certain circumstances, but I couldn't help but notice the "One World" slogan and feel repulsed by Mastercard and for that matter by all the big mafia banks in their push toward consolidated electronic banking systems. While electronic systems are much more convenient for us for commerce, I can't help but feel that we are being conditioned and incentivized to use these online fiat currency tools to further enable their tyranny of us. Paper money was bad enough in terms of a worthless symbol of wealth but now we are universally moving to something we can't even use as kindling for a fire!
Anyone have any brilliant ideas about how to bring gold and silver back into the mainstream to pay for groceries, to pay for piano lessons, to pay for whatever else we may need or want? Has anyone who is self employed started advertising to customers that they will accept payment in gold or silver? I would love to do this with my clients.
I'm not into the new fiat currency of crypto despite that surely some of you will swear by it. I would swear that crypto, when the government gets its tentacles in it which it will if it has not already, may be the final blow for our freedom. I'm over the slavery already. Any ideas are welcome.
