"700,000 deaths" from COVID, where tf are they getting these numbers?

Friends are railing on me how dangerous COVID is. I just cite that the numbers are inflated from co-morbidities and elder abuse but they won't quit. Any anon know an efficient way to refute it?

Ask them how people died of or with COVID-19 worldwide. Answer: 4.6 million.

Over 2.5 years of the virus being known of. More people own a PS5 than have died of COVID-19. Over 5 Billion people have been vaccinated and over 4 billion of them had temporary or permanent adverse side effects up to and including death.
