FGC is ultra liberal. It's why I left them behind despite providing some of the best times of my life. The best part was watching them beef with eSports people. They couldn't see the irony of it all. If I've learned anything from my experience in many of the different camps of the gaming industry, it's that all these trees produce rotten fruit. They become cults when they get too big for their britches. Doesn't matter if you're the little guys in the fgc or the big Bois at blizzard/riot. Hell the guy who ran the literal super bowl of fighting games every year got busted for being a pedophile. Do they let Evo die? Nah they just wait a while and resurrect it as an online event because all of the ethics in the world don't mean shit when it comes down to a strong brand with tons of followers = money to be made.
