It's possible it was a gift. Things are rarely as straightforward as they seem.

The vast majority of normies do not even realize there is a distinction between Q and QAnon. Those who do realize are pretty much all Q hopefuls themselves.

Yea. That's a very legitimate point. I searched around for Qanon mugs to see how common they were. Looks like there's two types of mugs:

Q wwg1wga and Q anon mugs.

The Qanon mugs look prettier. That might also be a reason.
