This is true. Worked in an eye clinic briefly. We were told that we only flag a patient's mental state if they seem genuinely off, like a threat to themselves and others, but I could see a malicious provider using it against a patient. We also made notes if the patient tended to be confrontational so if another person in the clinic had to handle the case they would be prepared. Again, it was only for office communication, but I could see it being abused by the current environment
