Welp... for MOST people, that should settle the issue once and for all. But not to the Left... "GIBBME DAT BABY FETUS STUFF!!"
it won't settle it for 'most' people either because if they do even 15 min of research they will find out that all medication for decades has been tested on lab grown tissues first and those tissues are from a few cell lines taken from fetuses going back decades and just continuously grown in lab conditions
Anyone arguing for exemption based on this better be prepared to be asked
because that's how modern medicine is made.
PS. and I write this as someone vehemently anti abortion, not even in cases of rape. (only exception is if severe health problems are reliably detected on the baby in the womb)
I've heard stories of doctors telling the parents about severe health problems they detected about the baby in the womb, and they recommended killing it. Parents refused, baby is born, and turns out to be perfectly healthy.
yeah, i heard the same apparently the tests they to detect stuff like down syndrome are like 80/20.
I don't know what the ethical thing to do here. A family having a baby with such a severe problem is usually end of the line - its rarely feasible to have another child. So I can understand how parents might feel have to take that gamble. If you abort the pregnancy with that risk factor, you can still have more kids.
