My company is also mandating the vaxx and I guess I have no choice now. Living in LA is not easy, esp as a non US citizen. It's funny how I worked so freaking hard to run away from where I was born, a communist country, and I ended up in LA. Not a wise choice lmfao. I couldn't easily change my job bc I'm still on working visa. If I lose my job I have to leave the US. There's not so much freedom left in LA but still better than going back to a commie country I guess.

It may not be better than other places now, but there is a reason that L.A. has more Vietnamese than any city outside of Vietnam, more Hondurans than any city outside of Honduras, and so on for about 30-40 other nationalities from every continent. Like most of the US, opportunities to live free from fear and progress economically are greater in LA than most other countries in the world. (There's also reasons why they leave after a while for better parts of the US, but that's another story.)
