Even if Trump comes riding back on a white horse, it is because God sent him. Even if the people rise up and throw off this evil, it is because God put His Spirit in them. Even if the evil ones realize that they are no better than the nazis or stalin or any other crazed despot ruler that even they supposedly frown on, it is because God filled them with His wisdom. There is only One that we should be hoping for, crying out to, leaning upon. When you put your faith in man, you should expect to be given over to man.

Put your faith, all of your faith, in the One Who created you.
