I wouldn't try to tell her what to do. She must make her own choice. You can let her know what you think, but you respect whatever decision she makes.
I think the odds of a bad reaction from the jab are about 1 in 500. Of those that have a bad reaction, 2.64% die, so about 1 in 19,000.
So the vaccine is not a death sentence in the near term. Just a risk. If there is any of the original virus strain floating around, maybe the vaccine could help.
Don't feel like you have failed. Everybody I care about has gotten the jab. Nothing I could do about it.
