In NJ when the lottery first started, people won every week or so. Most of them had their picture taken with a big check, and I actually know someone who won the million dollar one. That was over thirty years ago. Now when I look at the number of times a person won, it's like one every few months.For the smaller lottery which is usually in the thousands, it seems like no one wins until the jackpot is at least 100K.
